Hi Jim:
I am not sure that I can answer the question about changing the
behaviour of the shift change key in Microsoft Word, but for the other
part about scripting a hotkey can be explained as follows.
If you have set a hotkey in a setfile, then you use that hotkey for
something else in an ap, the latter will overwrite the former.
