Hi
I changed and updated 2 games, Battleship and Trek.
Trek is now Trek2014 and at version 1.0. The Battleship game is now version
3.0.
In both of these games you do not have to keep the game in the Default GW
folder to run.

You can still install it, but the feature is in saving the .wepm file on
your computer and extracting the files.

The .wepm file copy must be changed to have a .cab extension.

The next thing to have on your computer is a cabinet extractor program/app
where it will extract all data from the .cab file.
The best cabinet extractor program is 7-Zip and it is free.
So search for and download the 7-Zip installer. Once saved on your hard
drive or desktop, run it to install it.
Once installed then use Windows Explorer and find the .cab file. Once on
the file name go to the files menu and look for the 7-Zip option.
Once you expand that option select the Extract option and the .cab file can
be extracted to a folder of your choosing.

Once the files are extracted you go into that folder and look for either
BattleMoveFiles.vbs or TrekMoveFiles.vbs depending on which folder you are in.
Click on that file name and the files inside that folder will be converted
to the default folder format with all sound files stored in a sub data folder.

Then to run the game look for the Battle4Kids.exe file or trek2014.exe
file. Click on it and the game will run.
If you do not get it running check your Internet site security settings.
you may have to set the level to 2, to accept all programs.
Or I may have to change the program to have the prompt to come up to give
permission.
That can also be done when looking at the .vbs script for each game and
towards the end is commented out "runas" and you may have to delete the "open",
out and replace it with the "runas". This will force a security permissions
prompt so you can run the game.

This will allow you to run the game any place you have that folder. It will
not require Windoweyes to be installed, but if installed it will run the game
with the windoweyes choice as default.
In order to get SAPI voices you have to use the command line to run the game by
typing in the .exe file name with the s letter as a switch to the right of the
name, or if windoweyes is not on the computer it will automatically default to
SAPI.

So I changed these games to include the move files script for portability
for the games.

        Bruce
