This is a real bug - i.e., scrolling doesn't work. I'm not sure if it's a gwibber problem or a scrollbar problem, but we cannot say that scrolling not working is "invalid" as a bug report. Nor does the fact that the issues are being worked on make a bug report invalid.
Marking the bug as invalid increases that chances that a basic feature will ship in an unacceptable state. If you are trying to reflect that the bug is in Gwibber, then that status should be marked as confirmed. If you are trying to reflect that there is on going work on scroll bars that will fix this issue, then the status should be in progress or confirmed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Gwibber Bug Heros, which is subscribed to Gwibber. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/949171 Title: [Precise] scrolling with mouse wheel doesn't work Status in Gwibber: New Status in “overlay-scrollbar” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: In an up-to-date Precise beta, scrolling with the wheel on a mouse doesn't work. I see this specifically in Gwibber. Scrolling by clicking on the scrollar tab works fine. Steps to reproduce: 1. open an application with a long content (as a gwibber stream), probably just for those that use overlay scrollbars 2. move your mouse wheel up or down to have the window content scroll 3. notice that nothing happens to the content of the window Expexted behaviour? Should be able to scroll with the mouse wheel, as in previous releases.
