I have a similar problem to Abhi. the messages appear to get logged to the console but not the catalina log file (im using tomcat).
my server side messages are getting written to the file though (using JDK1.4 logging), just not the ones thrown on my client side that i would like to log in the server This is a clean install of JDK 1.6_06, tomcat 6.0.16. Any ideas? ive had a look at the logging configuration of tomcat and that seems to be correct, although i could be wrong.
