- libgwyddion: Bug in rank and median function, sometimes giving incorrect
  value/partial sorting, introduced in 2.62, was fixed.
- libgwyddion: New helper functions for locale floating point number formats.
- libgwyprocess: Fixed bug in gwy_data_line_zoom_fft() accessing an out of
  bound array element.
- libgwyprocess: New GwyDataLine function to calculate slopes (derivatives).
- libgwyprocess: GwyResults floating point values can have minimum number of
  significant digits set.
- libgwyprocess: Rank filter function for GwyDataLine was added.
- libgwyprocess: Wrong real size of gwy_data_field_area_row_psd() by factor of

- libgwyapp: Message logging is OpenMP thread safe; gwy_debug() can be used
  from OpenMP parallel code.

- Dunes (new): Sand dunes synthetic data generator.
- Graph Measure Period (new): Measurement of period of 1D periodic data.
- Volume add frame (new): Insertion of XY planes to volume data.
- Volume remove frame (new): Removal of XY planes from volume data.
- Volume plane level (new): Plane levelling of all XY planes of volume data.
- Volume facet level (new): Facet levelling of all XY planes of volume data.
- Volume line level (new): Line correction in all XY planes of volume data.
- Volume drift (new): Drift estimation from a stack of high-speed SPM frames.
- Volume step line correction (new): Step line correction in all XY planes

- Volume scars (new): Removal of scars in all XY planes of volume data.

- Statistical quantities, Correlation length and Roughness tools: Buttons

- Tools: Most tools can optionally hold the selection and transfer it to the
  other image upon switching, instead of using the selection present there.
- Spot remove tool: Detail can use colour mapping of the image instead
  always adapting it to the zoomed area.
- Mask editor tool: Thin lines can be 4-connected (instead of 8-connected).
- Statistical functions tool: Interface distribution function was added.
- Mask operations: Function extracting grain numbers to an image was added.
- Colour Range tool: New button for shifting data zero to the minimum of
  colour range mapping range. Range adjustment to selected rectangle can
  be disabled.
- Volume 3D view: Occasional crashes and broken visualisations were fixed.
- Volume swap axes: Crash for reversed axes was fixed.
- Olympus OIR: Image properties are matched using UUIDs, fixing sometimes
  mismatched Height/Intensity/Invalid channels. Support for files with an extra
  XML chunk was added and UTF-8 encoded XML chunks are correctly recognised.
- NetCDF: Physical unit support for newer GXSM files was improved.
- OPD: Integer type checking is more lenient, loading some files which were
  previously rejected as invalid.
- HDF5: Mismatched x and y resolutions and physical sizes in Ergo files were
  corrected. String handling, which causes problems with some HDF5 versions,
  was improved. Initial support for Shilps Sciences Lucent files was added.
- MI file: Loading curve maps was implemented and loading of binary single
  curves fixed to actually work.
- Nanoscope: Some single force curve files are no longed misdetected as
  images.
- Correlation search: A preview of the score image was added.

Others:
- Gwyutils: The multidimensional numpy array creation helpers actually create
  data with the correct shape now.
- Dependencies: If nothing else is available, the Zziplib ZIP file handling
  library can be also used to read ZIP-based file formats.
