Yes, it looks OK. There are no unresolved libraries.

So, somehow pygtk2 got lost and we are back at the beginning?

I am sorry; I do not have a good mental model of the environment you are
trying to run the scripts in. I can see what is going wrong, but am not
able to give effective advice what to change – all I write is based on
more conventional setups.

I am not sure what are you ultimately trying to achieve. You could have
probably set up Fedora 40 in a virtual machine and have everything
working there under 15 minutes. Yes, we should have Python 3 support,
but it will still take us a couple of years to get there because it
involves rewriting basically everything…
