Barring one ride on the 26 Dec , have been out of the saddle for almost 10 weeks. Thnaks for the support on this ride, I was kinda there for the first 40 miles, after that everything disappeared in motivation and strength. It's my first ever Gyro ride having come back and not a soul to be seen, my guess is I lost a good 25 - 30 mins in 20 miles. Rick was on his way home in the other direction on Carpenter, checked on me, and I gave him the thumbs up - that was easy, I was only doing 12mph. ( and I lied - I really wanted to put the thumbs down ) I completed the ride at exactly 16mph avg. !! Not good at all but as always enjoyed the company and the banter. Thanks Bert (Sadist) for a wonderful hilly course., next time I will check the route and not just the Venue and time. Thanks again guys. The Paddy will be back!!!!!
