Just my .02 -- Mount Airy was a ton of fun. I just rode three of the
climbs this past weekend with a couple Tri-Cyclist teammates and some
other guys from Chapel Hill, though my new Tarmac does not have a
compact crank, and I ended up doing some climbs at really low speeds,
not cause I was over-taxed (for the most part). The only thing was
there were a fair amount of loose dogs, especially on that second
climb.

The group I went with is regularly going up that way, so I'm sure we
could work some carpooling, group rides up there in the coming weeks
and months.
