thank-you everyone who replied on and off line about your ROAD ID. how cool
is that! you guys are great.

i'm eliminating the wrist band because of the sweat stink stories and
leaning toward the necklace since it's cleaner but may end up with the red
neoprene ankle band before i hit the send button :) 

adding a phone number who has medical authorization is a sound idea. mary,
thanks for that suggestion.

i always used the original band, wore it around my ankle.  on a different
note here;  the doc is now leaning towards a procedure called a tibial
tuberosity transfer instead of the knee replacement.  says he won't know for
sure until he gets in there.  still scheduled for the 10th.  glad we hooked
up the other evening..it was fun
