Rick talk about, breaking the rules. Notice when Tony led a decent pace up
Olive Branch I didn't attack, but on Bahama he just didn't push enough. We
started with 12 riders and finished with all. One could say it was the
easiest 20mph pace you could imagine. Best of all Commander Tony (I'm not
supposed to say the Snake anymore), gave us his seal of approval--we can
continue to have this ride. Now the bad news, next Saturday you are on your
own because I'm taking my daughter to college and myself to bankruptcy. Now
notice when I lead you get overcast skies for coolness--so expect a
different leader and blazing heat.

Hal

PS. Rick, while it was great having Tony, this ride as been in the high 19's
for the last couple of weeks. You A riders can only play with us, if you
play nice--Tony did do that.

It was a good ride today, guys. Hal was the first one in with a nice sprint
in the last 100 meters, but it was having Tony with us that made the
difference. He set the pace up a good deal of Cassam; paced us up Bahama
with Grey; and, paced us up Olive Branch.

Hal and I sat on Tony and Grey's wheel all the way up Bahama, and I was
content to stay this way until the break. But, Hal broke a rule of courtesy
(attacking the guys who did all of the work), so I chased him down.
Regardless of the rules of etiquette, it still was a nice piece of riding by
Hal. (By the way, it was good having Ed back with his Fox News Network
political commentary..)

I have better news for the A- group. I rode home with Keil and he mentioned
that he just might join us in the future, and he might have done so today
had he figured out which group was which (we did have quite a few different
rides going today). Imagine if we added Tony and Keil to one of our rides!
We would have to remove the - from the A!

Now, if we can convince Steve and Don Paige to drop down...

Great job today, guys. Everyone shared the work, and we remained together
the entire distance.

Hal, please do your report. This is not my ride, so this is really not a
report.

Rick
