The water bottle design does contain a speaker. It also contains a compartment
that hold the "thin iPod" and batteries. So there is music coming from the
bottle. The pdf that you can look at also shows a set of speakers mounted on
the handle bars and a small remote control also on the handlebars. I know it is
a personal issue but as a standard rule I do not recommend the listening to
music/news/educational documentary or whatever when riding. Most of us need to
concentrate on the cars or other riders and pot holes in the road (and
sometimes small dogs and deer's).
But to each his own. See you guy's and gal's riding the roads soon.

hanks, Gary. This was not the impression they gave me when they explained it.
e stated that the sound came from the "bottle" itself. I was not sure how that
ll worked.
I think most of realize that this is really just a gift idea, and it would only
e appropriate for certain occasions, and certain styles of riding. I have
oticed on our A rides that there are those who listen to music so I know that
iders of all levels listen while they ride.
If this was a practical gift idea it just might make cycling a bit more cool
for
ur teenage set.

The top of the "water bottle" contains the iPOD. There are no speakers on or
n the bottle. The speakers are attached to the handlebars along with a optional
emote control. Personally I like to listen to the sound of the
ind, tires, traffic and all the other beautiful music that my bike and nature
ffers. I can see some benefit of a music box for those commuting on really bad
ays - just to keep from being reminded on just how bad it is while riding
round. Having gone 10 years without a car years ago I was commuting 15 miles
ach way to work and also training/racing. I normally do not advocate the use of
istractions while riding your bike. But on days that there was ice/snow on the
oads or really rainy days I would sometimes use music to help motivate me. I
an contact them tomorrow and make sure they are available to bike stores. I
ould guess that they should be available to any shop that wants to buy them for
etail.

 yro Nation,
I was speaking with to 2 of my members who attend my cycling class and they
old
e about an accessory that holds an IPOD within a structure that is designed
ike a water bottle and fits neatly on your bike just like a water bottle.
I have not heard of this, but I must admit I was a bit interested. It does not

I have it linked here. Tony, Gary, and Matt, our cycling experts and
echanics,
ave you heard about this, and what do you think of it? Does the Trek store, or
