I think the point here is that this is protection from others (motorists, home owners, jerks, etc) in the event they sue us but we cannot sue each other or club organizers.
I was reading the usa cycling site and it appeared it might act a secondary medical insurance if an accident does occur but it was not clear to me. Any idea Tony? Perhaps we have a lawyer in the house (group) that could expand on this.
