I am unable to lead a ride consistently on Saturdays but vote for the
14-16mph option. That way I could actually ride occasionally on a Saturday.

Subject: [Gyros: 15107] Training Rides...A Call to Ride Leaders

Guys,

I would love to have more rides catering to the C and B- riders out there.
Problem is finding a leader/leaders who will commit their time to make these
rides successful. Yes, we have Mike's Touring Ride, (14-16mph), out of Blue
Jay Point but that is on Sunday's and a lot of folks can not ride on Sunday
due to family commitments. We need this type of ride on Saturday's too.

Anyone wanting to lead a B-/C ride, please let me know. It dosen't even
have to happen every weekend. At least 2 weekends a month would help get
this started.

Also, we could use another B group leader now that Maria has stepped down.
Leslie had a great ride last Saturday, which I attended, but I know that she
can not commit to every weekend. All she did was post her intentions and 11
people showed up to ride. The need is there.

Any volunteers? With 2-3 people we can alternate leaders to make it easier.
Remember, no leader, no ride!

Please let me know offline.

Tony

The Trek store rides (monday/Thursday starting mid-april) are listed as 17
and 16-17.

I've often thought that renaming the gyros B group would encourage an
intermediate group to form. Not many people are going to make the jump from
15mph 30mile rides to 20mph 70 mile rides.

Hi Gyros... Is there a training ride geared for the 15 -17 mph pace? I'm
looking to improve to be able to move up to the 18 - 20 mph pace as the
season goes on. Thank you... O. Frank
