Nice report from someone embedded in the event. 

Since you asked:

I lost the chain on Cheek not too far from Hereford. Courtney was kind enough 
to ride with me after replacing it, but, it came off again on Hereford, so I 
told him to go on ahead and I turned around. 

I figured out that the problem was with the big ring, and used the small one as 
I re-traced our route. I realized that I really was not that far ahead of your 
fast moving peloton and rode as hard as I could back to Kicks. (I pretended 
that I was Cancellara in Paris-Roubaix.)Sure enough I had only arrived there a 
few minutes before I heard Logan yelling out his average speed as he came by 
with Steve. 

Officially, the ride ends as soon as we hit Hickory Grove. That is where 
everyone should read their computers and get the average speed. The idea is to 
ride easy and together up that last stretch. 

I think that I mentioned this in my response to Tom, so, forgive the redundancy.
