I would also prefer the current email communication rather than having to
sign on to a separate site. I'm checking email daily and if I'm too busy (or
the email has too many big words that I don't understand !) I just delete
w/o reading, which seems less time consuming than having to go to a separate
site.

I do not mind getting the emails either. It keeps me from having to go to
the site every time and looking up the forum to see whats going on. If they
do not want the e mails just unsubscribe to the e mails.

Tony/membership committee,
I think it is a mistake to "force" users to "go" to the forum to get the
information. I get the emails sent automatically and and can use my email
program (rather than an internet email program) and my email program has
filters that allow me to automatically take all the daily inbound emails and
put them automatically into a folder. Then, you don't need to be 'connected'
to the internet to go-to-a-forum to read. This is a great advantage for
those of us who travel and still want to get the gyro emails in an automated
way. Looks like I'm joined by others who don't want an email change.

G's,

I know that some of you don't like receiving all the "useless" type posts
that are clogging up your blackberry's and email inboxes. Well, I have some
great news. We had a membership meeting on Saturday and one of the things
that we discussed was going to a different forum format that will eliminate
the way you are receiving Gyro emails. It will require you to go TO the
forum to check out riding schedules and other important information. If you
don't want to read a particular subject, no need to.

The bad news is that this in the works and may not be up and running for a
while so please bear with us and I will keep everyone up to date on how we
are progressing. In the meantime, as a friendly reminder, please try to
refrain from sending out "useless information".

Thank you.
Tony
