U know me--I'm a fair weather biker, so tonight seems improbably.

Things I would have talked about if we rode:

Yesterday on a ride I was tired after a hill, but in front on the flat--went
to pull off the lead, moved left and then looked over my shoulder to see a
car and moved back to the right, but the next rider was already there--I
almost caused him to go off the road. I should have looked over my shoulder
BEFORE getting off the lead. We all make mistakes, what we have to do is be
open to learning from them.

If you are pulling, like on a hill, and a group is passing you do NOT fight
for a wheel. Wait until there is a space, even if it is the last wheel,
before moving in (this was a problem on Raven Ridge last week). We are not
racing--this is a group ride.

On sprints hold your line; do not move over on another rider.

Lastly I will go into my training mode for the state games and will not be
leading this ride until 6/21 or 6/28. You all know how to keep a steady
effort ride, which is the idea of this ride.

Have fun and be SAFE.

Certainly e-mail me with any questions.
