It's tough to go wrong with a Tarwheel ride. I did my first century this past April, it was the Tarwheel century out of Elizabeth City. They have the best supported SAG stations, so many volunteers with amazingly yummy treats for all the riders.
I have been planning on and will definitely be signing up for the 100 mile ride.
