I was not thinking of Lance winning a sprint stage in a sprint finish. That
would be impossible. Team Radio Shack was not set up for sprint finishes. They
were put together to win the GC...

I was thinking that he could win a "sprint stage" that is not exactly a Mark
Cavendish-type course, but, one that has CAT 3, and 4 climbs and an elevated
finish (there is one of these left). Lance would go on a well planned break (if
there is such a thing...), and, then attack the small group and finish by
himself with the first chase almost a full minute behind.

Hey, I can dream, can't I? With Lance out of contention I have lost my extreme
passion for the tour. I still enjoy it, but I am not hanging on every word and
action as I would have been doing had Lance been in the hunt.

Brett Favre, and Lance. That's it for me. I have no other real sports heros.
(Larry Bird and Michael Johnson have long ago retired...)

Ok. I have got this out of my system!!
