Subject: [Gyros: 16428] Changes to future B Rides

B-Riders,

It has become apparent that we need to make a few changes to our future rides.
Some folks have become much stronger riders and since there has not been a
separate A- ride, our B ride has become more mixed in ability levels. We will
be dropping the average pace for the B ride back to 16-17 mph and we need
someone to step up and agree to lead a B+ ride at 18-19 mph. You can use the
same route that Diana or I post for the B ride, you will just roll out of the
parking lot ahead of us. With us doing the same route, it allows for someone
to test their legs with the B+ group but have the option to drop back to the B
group if necessary.

Let's all remember that we are out there to enjoy doing something we love, get
some exercise, enjoy each other''s company, and stay safe (not necessarily in
that order!). In addition, if you come to our B ride, please know that it is
not a beginner ride. Most of us have been riding for some time and in the
interest of safety, you need to understand some group riding dynamics and you
need to be able to maintain the minimum pace. That's why I ask people to
contact me offline if they have not been out with us before.

I would love to see a couple of people step up to lead the B+ ride, that way if
one person cannot be here, we will have a backup leader. It's really not going
to be much work if Diana and I are still posting the routes.

Thanks, and hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!
Leslie
