Berry and all G's interested... here is what I would like to do,
1. Start a C/C+ ride for those interested in the Wake Forest / Youngsville area
(but would most certainly be open top anyone).
2. This ride would progress the riders through the fall and winter seasons with
increasing distance and speed to be able to join B groups as we
emerge into spring.
3. This would be a controlled pace to the slowest rider.
4. NO one left behind.
5. I think allowing sprinting up hills as long as the person doing the
sprinting waits for the remainder of the group at the top will be allowed (a
little interval training).

There are some very good circular routes from Youngsville ranging (as mentioned
before) from 10 miles on up with low traffic.
The one thing I'm not sure of is how often I'll be able to lead a Saturday /
Sunday morning ride. I was thinking of starting out every other weekend to
start and as the group grows, go from there.

Everything is open but this is a base for starting.

Does anyone have other comments?

'O' Frank

  I'm game for these rides, I can do that pace. Youngsville is close by for me;
5 min by car, 10-15 by bike. If the first rides are short, under 20 miles or
so, I'd ride to the ride. Let me know your proposed schedule, or ride time/date
& we'll try to set something up.

I would target the speed as starting at 14/15 - 16 mph and increasing as
time goes on. The purpose being to be able to move into the B groups

      O. Frank,
Pardon my ignorance, but what is the mph pace of a C/C+ ride? I live in
North Wake Forest & can do ~15mph, for any distance under 50 miles.

Would anyone be interested in riding a C/C+ ride from the Youngsville
area? I have found some very nice routes go east of Youngsville starting at 10
miles and going up from there. Any interest?

        Thanks O. Frank
