Grey, Please come by to see me for this "stitches" they placed on you last night, in our ER. I think you already have my phone number to call. If not, you can look me up on my website, "hardysingh.com". Any other rider, who may need me, I am there for you. Sorry this happened. Hope everyone has settled down with their injuries. No more surprises, please! I hope someone got the number for the car driver who did this. Darn!

Thought I was okay when the EMS and such got there and reclaiming the air that got knocked out of me, nothing broken (just twisted and bruised). Got home to a sniffing dog on my leg and as I removed my riding pants, realized I was bleeding. After showering and nursing the cut, realized I couldn't stop the bleeding. Thanks to Kathy who mothered and nursed me thru the first part of what to do and then to Jackie who made a house visit to check on me. She told me I needed stitches. But stubborn me was going to the hospital to get stitched up. She wrapped me up and told me if it didn't stop bleeding, that I needed to go to the hospital for stitches. Well, at 10 last night I'm in Duke Raleigh emergency. 3 hrs. later and 3 stitches later I'm coming home. Banged and bruised and cut but doing okay. Thanks to Tom for riding home and getting his truck and coming back and taking us walking wounded back to BJP. And thanks to all for being there under this unfortunate situation. ----- Original Message ----- >From: Tom Fissel >To: [email protected] >Sent: Sunday, December 05, 2010 5:04 PM >Subject: Re: [Gyros: 16989] Sunday Recovery Ride Scorecard > > >Ed, everybody was either in crash mode or avoiding-crash mode to even think >about the plate number.
