Gyro Nation, This Sunday we are going to Baptist Rd. to test our Race Team, and I could use some help with timing, and logging results.
What the athletes will be doing is a 3-mile time trial up Baptist on part of our 10 mile TT course. I need 2 timers who will be at the finish line, and hopefully 2 Gyros at the start line. The first athlete is set to go off at 9am, although I might move that to 10am, and, at one minute intervals after that. I realize that many of you like to do Kim's ride, but, I am going to go out for a 30-35 ride after we complete this test to satisfy your cycling urges. Half of the team will be testing this Sunday, and the other half will be testing next Sunday. I could use help on both days. The time commitment will be about one hour. The athletes will be at the start line promptly, and will already be warmed up. They will do 2 trials with a 15 minute recovery between each effort. So, come out and support our team! These athletes are going to be putting themselves on the line as our Race Team representatives, and I can assure you that they are all working hard to make us proud. This type of commitment deserves our admiration and respect. Let's show them that we are behind their efforts by coming out to help, and/or to cheer them on.
