I am making a German dress about 1475-1505. I¨ll be scrubbing and doing
mostly dirty work in the camp, so brass would be more likely than pewter.
But if I'm looking for something that doesn't exist, it's either deep
diving into the Warhammer paint, going with pewter or choosing a different
neckline.

I have made hooks and eyes before and suspect I could probably solder
something usable if I didn't have to spend the next 5 weeks sewing.
