Hey costumers! Delightful as always to hear a few tidbits from you. Today's project is a 1921 kimono sleeve blouse from an upcycled kimono. The old kimono was stained (probably from storage against wood or in cheap paper). With judicious cutting, I can get a drapey blouse out of it. Previously, I've been working thru the sewing, repairs & costume projects with my sudden free time. So far, there's a 1930 wool crepe business suit, a middy blouse and a few accessories. Favorite spouse's pandemic project was to get my dad's Model A running smoothly. Suddenly I need a huge 1928-1921 wardrobe! If you're on FB, you can find me as Cyn D Rella. If you please, leave a quick note via messenger saying who you are (especially if your FB handle isn't your name). And yes, dont wonder if I know you well enough, after all these years, it's a delight to know you all. Best regards, --cin Cynthia Barnes [email protected]
