Thanks for the "One More Thread."  I didn't know that about acetate!

Yeah I recently read about this as I was doing a search on the history of
man made fibres. I was trying to find the earliest one in production. I knew
elasic is older than we generally thinkabout, but wasn't sure when man made
fibres appeared.

Oh, I don't know that I'd say that. While all I wanted to be able to do was to
be able to identify my Trillium photos, I'm finishing up a PhD.  Obsessive
about knowledge?  Who me?  Nah -- these are not the droids that you're looking
