these films were now available. It had been a while since I looked.

"Bleak House"....with Diana Rigg and "Our Mutual Friend" are both available
on DVD and a mere $9.98 at Deep Discount DVD....with free shipping in the US.
"The American" was not there, but a search for Diana Rigg turned up the 1968
Royal Shakespeare production of " A Midsummer Night's Dream" that is
wonderful! Very primitive video-wise [actually kinda quaint] and in modern
dress...sorta....for the 60s, but the best reading ever! After all, the play's
the
thing. Ian Richardson's Oberon is the best I've ever seen. Judi Dench is
Titania
with her boobs hanging out and painted green. Ian Holm is Puck. Helen Mirren
is Hermia. David Warner is Lysander. Diana Rigg is Helena. It's just great!
No "Woman in White" alas.
