I'm not sure what you mean by 'bridesmaid's gowns', as this pattern doesn't have that option.
I was looking at using it for "Mobster and Movie Star" costumes at CostumeCon next spring. My husband has wanted an old time gangster outfit for a while, and I need something suitably slinky to wear with it.
