Euphrosnia, the strumpet, sports a copy of the Verney Gown, a forest of quilt pins and not much else. The gown's armholes are ragged, as is the neckline. The gown is fully lined and she wears it inside-out waiting for binding to beautify, support & conceal rough shoulder seams. Possibly she wears her coat inside out to repulse pixies. Adonis, exhibitionist that he is, wears only a black gilet that belongs under a Charles de Blois style pourpoint. --cin Cynthia Barnes [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list [email protected] http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
