I don't have a dressmaker's dummy. Never have. But the clothes hanger that is taking the place in my life of a dressmaker's dummy is wearing the first few parts of a 10th c Lithuanian costume I am attempting to recreate--the (completed) tunic and the (incomplete) shawl. The overskirt, veil and circlet I've made are done too--but those don't stay on a hanger very well. :-) I have socks, Baltic-style slippers, and a wool sash that I've purchased. Once I finish the apron and shawl and obtain a suitable set of stickpins, I'll be done! :-) -- Cathy Raymond <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> "Physics is like sex; sure, it may give some practical results, but that's not why we do it."--Richard Feynman _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list [email protected] http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
