The stays or corset or whatever it is in the picture may be foam lined,
but for the rest of the movie, most of the women have the right shape for
those clothes, so they are wearing something underneath that makes them
smooth instead of bumpy, shall we say. We don't see much in the way of
undergarments, or nudity for that matter. For an R rated movie, it's very
tame, and I saw the conjecture somewhere that it's rated R because of
blatant anti-Catholic sentiment. Hard to believe.

There are parts of the movie in which the character played by Sienna
Miller disguised as a man, including a glued-on mustache. Her chest is
flat enough during those parts that she must have had something binding her
breasts, but we don't see what.
