HI NANCY!!! This is Becky Rautine. I'm in the same costuming discussion
group. I just saw your post and recognized your name. Maybe I need to just
ask you these questions. You'd be my expert... and within reach of my home.
I will share my sketch of the dress as soon as I get it into the computer.
I'd appreciate any advice you can give a beginner. I'm very good at the
sewing and stitchery, but the period costumes are new to me.
I'm making a Mother Hinger costume for my daughter's ballet this next
Christmas. Any suggestions? It's a robe a la francaise type like Marie
Antoinette puffy one.
