I'm not your typical opera fan...swooning over that mid to late 19th century rep [tho' there are of course truly great works there. Even if you can't sit thru Wagner, you know it's amazing stuff]
BTW, if you do like 19th century, Zefferelli filmed a gorgeous production of "La Taviata."
