Masks and Masking in Medieval and Early Tudor England by Meg Twycross and Sarah Carpenter has a HUGE (30 pages long!) bibliography. They constantly reference masking on the continent as a source because it took longer to catch on in England. I would bet a confectionery that you could find what you are looking for there. I'd love to have a copy of your hand out if you are sharing!
