I tend to agree with trying other methods than bleach - do you have access to a bar of plain lye soap? I once got charcoal from a wash puddle on my wool petticoat with crewel work around the hem. I thought it was a goner but I spot washed it with some home-made lye soap and it was out - mold colourations are tough to remove, tho if you must use bleach try spot cleaning vs soaking the whole garment - in other words, see if it will budge the mold before you soak the whole thing as it can weaken the fibres.

Yes.

Maybe boil it on the stove. Or try color/ stain remover from a dye company
like Ritt or Tintex. Those you don't actually boil, but simmer on the stove.
