In the final scene it had one of the most inventive costumes I've seen in a long time. ******************* In the musical "Dream Girls"...a story of a 60s girl group like the Supremes...there's a number called "I'm Changing". The solo singer alone on stage starts out in a 60's poncho dress...y'know a dress with a matching poncho.... A style kinda popular in the 60s. As she sings the spot light focuses closer and closer on her face until that's all you can see. Then, as the song progresses, the spot light spreads back out and she, having not moved, is in a long beaded gown! Whoa...she really IS changing! Obviously the gown is on the back of and under the poncho part of the 1st outfit, but what a great special effect. Like in "Sunday in the Park with George" where Dot's bustle gown opens up and she steps out of it in her under things and dances while the gown just stands there by itself. Then it opens up again and she steps back into it. _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list [email protected] http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
