My recommendation? DVD players are cheap and relatively light. Get a cheap one and have a friend from the US ship it to you, that way you will be covered, instead of trying to figure out DVD coding. Someone on the East Coast could probably get it to you cheaper than I could, but if you want me to track down a cheap WalMart model and shipping, let me know.
