Your post reminded me--I went to Powells yesterday and lucked into a re-issue of Jane Lemon's _Metal Thread Embroidery_ (ooooooaaaaaahhhhh). It's a trade paperback, gorgeous photos, $24.95 U.S. Not bad at all, considering the quality of the book. Published by B. T. Batsford, ISBN 0 7134 8926 X.
Metal thread embroidery is one of those things I keep meaning to learn. Now I have no excuses. Good luck with the MS and the needlework!
