I must say of all the crafts I have learned in my life, sewing has given
me the most pleasure, been the most thrifty and proved to be the most useful
of all.

I had to laugh at this one, sewing has given me more pleasure than just
about anything else I've done, and while at times it has saved me money,
I've spent more of my money on cloth and sewing supplies, so I can't call it
a thrifty hobby.
