I'm so very happy to see that I'm not the only one who works on multiple
projects simultaneously. It used to drive my ex nuts... but I guess he
was
never around anyone else who had a creative streak in them!
I simply CAN NOT work on only one thing at once. Eventually I get bored and
just sit in front of the TV feeling bad about sitting there doing nothing.
Or if I'm unsure of how to proceed with a project, I'll need to let it sit
for a few weeks.
Right now, I'm planning to do my Master's Degree directed work (like a
thesis, but shorter) - it's translation work, but I'm translating patterns
so it's related. I'm also planning on working with FIMO to do fake ivory (a
small casket and a weaving tool). I'm taking Mandarine lessons, reading
Chinese books, watching Chinese movies and reading travel guides for a trip
in the Fall. I'm still planning to get started on my black Elizabethan some
time this summer, I also have to sew a pavillion cover for a lady in our
Barony, and I have to make a few basic clothing items such as hose, hoods
and wool tunics for cold weather. I'm also doing some cardweaving, knitting
a scarf and a pair of socks, working on FIMO jewelry and trying to finish
watching the 3rd season of 24 so I can give it back to my friend. I also do
archery in my Barony. And I have to make padded bags to store the Baronial
thrones.
Well... I'm simply not going to be able to finish everything this summer!!!
