I have what is probably a very basic question, but I need an answer anyway.
I am making Elizabethan garb for my son to wear this summer at Bristol. I started on the neck ruff the way I would normally and suddenly realized that this will be seen up close and the machine stitches on the edgeing will show as will the horsehair braid. How do you construct the neck ruff so that the hem, etc is hidden?
