Somehow I never saw the original, so I'm not sure what the question was, but I would caution against painting with water-soluable acrylic craft paints. I use those regularly for a variety of crafts and hobbies, and if you are painting on metal or plastic you usually need a primer in order to get the paint to stay, and usually also a sealant coat of clear finishing product. Otherwise normal handling will cause the paint to rub off the metal or plastic surface fairly quickly.
