Did the article Janet Arnold do on the Efigy corset give dimensions?    I 
remember asking Drea about it...hmmm..old brain condition prevents me from 
recalling.  I would think that you could work out a realistic height and waist 
measurement from that.  Otherwise, I have never heard specific weight and 
heights given for Elizabeth....I'd like to see this too.

  Where did you get the information about Elizabeth's size? I have 
  always been given to understand that, as her genetic inheritance was 
  Tudor/Plantagenet, and her forebears were tall, that she was at least 
  of average height and build, and even for Tudor times, 4'10" is 
  small. I am sure that there are descriptions from the Spanish 
  Ambassador that give the lie to the size you quote - I don't have my 
  Arnold to hand to find the exact wording.
