I haven't picked out any exact pattern or image, I don't know exactly how the
corset is going to look like yet. The basic idea is of a corset without gussets
(or with as little as possible), with rather vertical seams.
I got a very special (and very funny, too) order from a man who bet with
someone that he would live and behave like a woman for two days, which
includes, of course, him being dressed as a lady. I think the point is that no
one may recognize him, but I'm not sure, anyway, it's none of my business. The
thing is, he wants me to make him a corset which would form his body to
resemble a woman figure. This means to squeeze the waist. I thought some corset
of the victorian style might be good for that, but the intention is not to be
authentic, but to form the body. And as I've only done corsets for myself
(using plastic boning), I wasn't sure about what kind of boning should I use in
this case. I don't like plastic boning much because it's quite thick, so I
started wondering about some steel.
And repeating what I said above, the corset will be worn for two days without
a break (except for sleeping). But I think I'll recommend the man to wear it
some time before, to get used to it.

What style of Victorian corset do you plan to make? Do you have a
pattern/image picked out? How regularly do you plan to wear the corset--will
it be a daily thing, on the weekends, a few times a year, or only once?
