Seems a little low for pregnancy.
The feet don't seem to be in the right place either, to connect her legs
to the top half of her body, so I am inclined to think the distortion is
an effect of the painter's lack of skill in doing 3/4 portraits. The
bump on the sitter's right seems to be her hip.
