Funny you should mention that book. I just so happen to have made a photocopy on it in its entirety when I ran across it for the first time a few years ago in a small town library. Since it was written in 1920, I've wondered ever since how accurate it is. Incredibly detailed, so I've been wondering. any consensus among you all?

Speaking of ancient costume history, are any of you expert in the
field of Mesopotamian costume? I'm wondering what else might have been
dug up in that area since I studied costume history. Anyone know any
good books on the subject?

Except for Mary Houston's book on the subject (which is sort of "ancient"
itself!) I don't know of anything.
