OMG !! I am laughing so hard. I was on short time frame and bought this
same material (at 60% off at JoAnn's) to throw together a quick Elizabethan.
I did not have enough of the flocked material to make the long Spanish
sleeves I wanted to add so, I found (by pure luck) the perfect match to the
background material (at of all places--Hobby Lobby) and used that with cut
velvet trim to tie the theme back into the main flocked material. I have
NEVER had so many compliments and got stopped every 10 feet at our local
Faire for photos. Everyone went crazy over that fabric. I have to say,
that it did look rich and wonderful when the light hit it.

As to YOUR outfit--I like the tabs.

I'm not sure what I should do here. This bodice http://tinyurl.com/343la7
is sort of a practice bodice. It is made from flocked fake silk taffeta
(barf - but it was the closest fabric I have found to give the right look.)
I found it at the last minute about a week ago at Jo Annes - it just
happened to match the silk taffeta of the skirt almost exactly. I am in the
process of having another embroidered to match the embroidery in the actual
picture. http://tinyurl.com/3bdc27
