Also remember that patterns are drafted for an "average" cup size of B or C at the most. When I was younger and misguided, I bought patterns to fit my larger-than-average bust measurement, and the results were uniformly too wide across the shoulders.

The March issue of Threads (which I've already been pointed to for the faux fur article) apparently has an article about altering patterns for larger bust sizes, so I have two (or three, depending on how you're counting) reasons to pick it up. ;-)
