Selling the discontinued samples???? (read outrage here) My local decorator just sets the outdated samples in a box outside her door free for the taking. I asked her the first time I saw them - she said it was easier and cheaper than filling up her dumpster and paying the dump fee. I have such fun with them - book covers, gift bags, vests, lap robes - all kinds of stuff.
In my experience, no one method works for all samples. Different companies use different glues and they seem to react differently on various fibers. Some didn't want to let go at all so I ended up just trimming the end with the label off. Good Luck.
