I'm late to the party, but I can't resist.

1. Mini-skirts: Girl's skirt lengths were measured
No. Don't know what the rules were, but they were super short. They would stop traffic, even today. Both in Junior High and Senior High. I didn't appreciate it at the time. Wow!

2. Girls' pants: When were girls' allowed to wear pants to school. Pants-suits, hiphuggers?
I remember girls wearing pants, but no jeans, at elementary school. That was in 1963, because I remember when one girl's elastic waistband broke in 2nd grade.:-) From junior high to graduation, the chicks were all in jeans with these little one inch zippers. I also remember girl's "drive-in pants" which were jeans with a fall front. Wow! They used to wear these skin tight ribbed tops with them.

3. Boys' Hair: Allowed to wear long hair

Yes.

4. Boy's mustaches: When allowed

When you could grow it.

The end of the mini-skirt no-bra era was a disaster.
