That's not true.  It's still fiber, still purple tabby woven with
strips of gold (beaten gold, not gold-wrapped thread). The pattern is
a brocade, about the size of a small table runner. It was burned
briefly during the funeral ceremony as part of the burial offerings.
It's in the catalog of the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki.
